NIGHTMARE

Nightmare New York was an institution in NYC for 14 years starting in the year 2000. During that time it was produced by several different entities, but was always designed and conceived by Psycho Clan.  They always had a presence in the lower east side where they called home, but they mounted production in every borough of NY as well as in Miami.  Unique in the haunted house industry, they would completely change their theme every year.  This is because to the team at Psycho Clan this was immersive theater, not a traditional haunted house. There was always a story with recurring characters and a plot-line you could follow. That is, when you weren't screaming.  Although the team feels like Nightmare has run its course, they never leave out theoption of bringing it back some day.

One of the hallmarks of Nightmare has always been its ambition. Unlike most other haunted attractions we present a brand new experience every year in both theme and content. As artists this keeps it exciting and new. We could be celebrating our 50th anniversary and still feel like we are doing it for the first time!
